George Bent (b. Feb 1822, d. 1904) married Sophia Neiman (16 Oct 1820 - 04 June 1905) in 1845. She was born in Mecklenburg, Nordwestemecklenburg, Mecklenburg-Verpommern, Germany and died in Three Rivers, St. Joseph County, MI 04 June 1905.

Bent (10 July 1846 in Mecklenburg, Vorpommern, Germany- 14 Sep 1916 in Marcellus, Cass, MI, USA) & Ellen Marie Wood Bent (b. 23 Feb 1851 in Florence, St. Joseph, MI, USA - d. 9 May 1917 in Marcellus, Cass, MI, USA). Ellen Marie Wood Bent was the daughter of James W. Wood & Roxanna Puffer.
