Carrie Anna Thornburg family tree. (ancestry.com) Married to Merton Fletcher Brown. Tom Krohn. This line also connects to the Mohney line through Lucille Ellen Thornburg who married Otis V. Mohney.
Abner Brown married Frances Welcher daughter of Abraham Welcher & Catherine (Barriford) Rutherford. Catherine is buried in the Charleston Cemetery.

Obituary of Sophia Elizabeth Fletcher (02 September 1864 - 15 June 1953) married Julius Horace Fletcher (11 October 1857 - )
William Brown (11 January 1798 - 09 April 1872) married Martha Gleason (March 1816 - 02 November 1892). They had a son, Abner Brown.
Abner Brown (28 February 1837 - 09 July 1909) married Frances Elnora Welcher (07 May 1857 - 23 December 1916). Frances Welcher was the daughter of Abraham Welcher and Catherine (Barriford) Rutherford (1818 - 1895). Abner came to Nicholsville in the spring of 1857 and worked on a farm until he bought his own farm in 1860. In the 1860 U.S. Census he is listed as A. Brown, age 24, farm laborer, NY) in the A.B. Copley household in or near Nicholsville. The farm he bought later that same year was about 2-3 miles away, nearer the village of Volinia. Abner had a brother, Fernando C. Brown (b. 1841 in NY) who married Miss Alice J. Copley (b. about 1846) the daughter of Thomas Nelson Copley and Clarissa Nichols of Nicholsville. Thomas had 40 acres about one-half mile SE of Nicholsville. His neighbor on two sides (80 acres) was A.G. Copley (probably the brother of Thomas).

1. Emory Brown (17 November 1881 - 04 April 1954) married Muriel Sarah Fletcher (21 September 1889 - 05 July 1970)
2. George W. Brown (14 June 1885 - 08 October 1943) married Ethel Goble.
3. Floyd Brown (24 June 1879 to Jan. 2, 1963) married (1) Lora Jane McCully, and (2) Margaret McCully.
4. Wilbur Brown (Feb. 1880 to 26 Oct. 1952) married Elsie McKenzie.
5. Ila Bird Brown (24 February 1891 - 27 November 1914) married J.D. Emmons.

1. Garry Abner Brown (17 December 1909 - 21 August 2004) married (1) V. Ethel Burns, and (2) Mary Gordon.
