April 2011 Election Information
Tuesday, 05 April 2011 is Election Day for the Non-Partisan offices in Wisconsin. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM. Polling locations can be found on the County Clerk website. Results from the February Primary can be found on the County website (click on "Election Results" on the right).
The League of Women Voters Door County will sponsor Candidate Forums (press release) for:
Jacksonport Town on Thursday, 03 March at 7 PM at the Town Hall (PDF flyer)

New Sister Bay Well Ordinance -- Please note if you are working with property owners or buyers in the Sister Bay area; they have changed the Well Water Ordinance which may impact your transaction. Below is the letter from Sister Bay’s Assistant Utility Clerk Martha Baker
"It is important that realtors handling Sister Bay properties know that the existence of any private well must be disclosed to prospective buyers, who will be subject to the permit regulations.
A copy of Sister Bay’s revised Utilities Ordinance regarding private wells is in the attached file. The purpose of the revised ordinance is to prevent unused, unsafe, or improperly constructed wells from serving as a passageway for contaminated surface or near surface waters into our drinking water supply.
