Hilda Nemmers
BANCROFT — Hilda Nemmers, 92, died Saturday (April 4, 1998) at the Stone Hill Care Center, Dubuque.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. John Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, where there will be a Catholic Daughters of the Americas Rosary at 3 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Hilda Nemmers was born July 20, 1905, in Bancroft.
Survivors include two daughters, Malverne Sullivan of Elmhurst, Ill., and Sister Michelle Nemmers of Dubuque; two sons, Larry Nemmers of Bancroft and the Rev. Frank Nemmers of Larchwood; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Recker of Manchester, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister.
