Leopold Robert Neubrand (b. in Germany) married Theresa Frick (15 Oct 1845 in Baden, Germany; d. 16 Sep 1909 in St. Joseph, Berrien, MI). She was the daughter of Mathias and Martha (Elgar) Frick.

Leopold Robert & Theresa (Frick) Neubrand had a son, Robert Matthew (10 July 1880 in St. Joseph, Berrien, MI; 02 March 1939 in LeMars, IA). They had 8 children:
